RockLocks Hair Extension Training Academy is a one woman business who not only fits hair extensions around a large area of the country but also trains would be hair stylists to fit extensions themselves helping to create more small businesses. The owner of the website Sally needed a website to portray across her brands image of style with an edge. Helping her on her next step being girl boss!
Beautiful & Functional
The lady who owns this hair extension website had no idea how to design and make a website nor did she have the time to put into making one. But she knew that she wanted a website to give her business more credibility and to bring more clients her way. I helped take this pressure off her shoulders by designing the website she wanted that not only drew in more customers for her but also reflected what her company was about beautifully.
Due to the main target audience for this website being largely people interested in beauty, I knew that the image of this website had to be based on wow factor! So I took this in to account when designing this hair extension website. The header had to be bold and convey what the brand is all about to really draw the audience in. If your website is bland then you will loose customers before they have even clicked on a second page. I created this website in the same bold colours of the RockLock’s logo and I added some bold stock photos related to the hair extension business again to help draw people in.
I knew that due to the line of work being based in the hair and beauty industry, photos of the work were so important so I made sure to include plenty of photos of the actual work carried out and I also included a gallery. I also suggested that in the future the owner of this website may want to consider adding some videos showing the process again to help draw more people in from google image search!
As requested I also produced the logo, promotional material and flyers, a portable pop up banner for events and photography and unique, high quality certificates for graduates of the RockLocks Academy.
